Have you ever thought that the “Nutritional Facts” on the back of a box doesn’t really give you the whole picture? Well, so have many other folks and they’ve decided that crowdsourcing ideas is a place to start. So a contest has been born.
Rethink The Food Label: Nutrition. Conversation. Design. Deadline is July 1st. I wish I’d noticed this before, but I can’t wait to find out the results!
Rethinking The Food Label (video link — I haven’t figured out how to embed in WordPress…)
I didn’t see a link to this post on your old site, Mrs. Q. Maybe it’s there but I just couldn’t find it.
I don’t like seeing comments in reverse order, i.e. newest to oldest. If you want to read the comments in order, you have to read from the bottom up. It’s terribly awkward.
I’d rather see a date and time on each comment rather than a stamp showing how much time has elapsed since the comment was posted.
On the old site, I used to post comments as Kim using my Google account. When I tried using Google on this site, it displayed my last name as well and I don’t want to do that. I had to set up a new user name to get around it. I tried at least a couple of dozen user names but they were all taken. KimFedUpWithLunch was the only one I could come up with that wasn’t taken. I’m on user name overload and would much rather comment under the display name I used on the old site.
I miss all the great links on the old site. As a follower, I think it’s a shame to lose that useful resource.
So sorry for all the whining today, Mrs. Q! Hang in there. It will all get sorted out.
There’s a litte box right above the comments that let’s you choose how you want to sort the comments. 🙂
Ooooo! Found it. Works great. Thanks so much!
*also for the time formatting you can go to your Profile (on Disqus), go to Edit Profile, click on the tab that says “Account” and change the Time Format from “Relative” to the alternate… I think it’s “Accurate” or “Exact” but it will show the time. I prefer this too 🙂
This is sooo cool! Thanks for sharing I’ve subscribed to their feed. This is something to be excited about for sure!
