Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving!
It was our first gluten free holiday!
What was left over — I took only an “after” shot!
Top (left to right): Popovers (far left corner); mashed potatoes; strawberry jello (all natural); stuffing; “butter”; turkey
Bottom: Sweet potatoes with marshmallows; green bean casserole; cranberry sauce; turkey gravy
Giving thanks for real food, my wonderful family, and good conversation.
Nice! Happy Thanksgiving!
I went to a cousin’s house, where we had a gluten-, peanut-, shellfish-, and pork-free holiday–delightful! I’m MSG free, myself, but they were thrilled when I showed up with a broccoli/rice/cheese casserole that absolutely everyone could eat–and a crust-less pumpkin pie into the bargain!
Happy thanksgiving!
What did you do for the gf pie crust? The ones I’ve made in the past were disappointing. This year, I gave up and took a gf apple-cranberrey crunch instead. (I’m not gf, but the brother in law is, so we try to keep the whole meal gf if he’s there).
We also had our first gf thanksgiving. Found the best bread recipe that made perfect stuffing… I didn’t feel like I was missing anything.
