I just opened up the poll for June (running a tad late) so please vote when you the chance. There were only four nominees this time around so it won’t take you long to cast your vote!

Last month’s winner Lisa Suriano of Veggiecation recorded an acceptance speech on her blog, which you can watch below:
.
Fantastic speech! Thanks so much for your hard work and dedication to kids. This blog is dedicated to everyone who works to make kids’ lives healthier at school and at home!
Lovely to hear that speech!
I think it's a bit sad that Stephanie Alexander only got "in Australia" as a commentary – she does a lot of great work with kids and creates kitchen gardens in their schools. If the other contestants have an explanation of what project they're linked to, I really think that Stephanie should too.
I vote for Sue Dengate in Australia. 🙂
How do I cast a vote? I'm very impressed with Chef Laura DeSantis at the Marblehead Charter School. Food from scratch, teaching kids to cook, her own freshly grown produce from an on-grounds garden. She deserves HUGE praise for her work and dedication!
